We walk the neighborhood almost nightly and enjoy the quiet streets.

Also, the fact that a lot of younger couples, both straight and gay, are moving in and renovating the homes (with taste) says a lot about the quality of the neighborhood.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317975858350325183.post-24789194263685095522011-07-19T20:19:32.865-07:002011-07-19T20:19:32.865-07:00We live in Kiestwood Estates and really it's a...We live in Kiestwood Estates and really it's a hidden gem. That's one of the tradeoffs that people who love MCM have to sometimes make. The great suburbs of yesteryear aren't necessarily as great today.

For people who are really interested in a house but not sure about the neighborhood, talk to the neighbors and the neighborhood association. Also, spend some time there after dark to see what you think. Your mileage may vary.

The most important thing is that a great home like this finds a buyer who will really appreciate its beauty. Even if it's not right for you, pass it on. It's perfect for somebody.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09058464328663134630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317975858350325183.post-66740868849006422242011-07-19T16:05:44.027-07:002011-07-19T16:05:44.027-07:00I'm in the market for an MCM house and saw thi...I'm in the market for an MCM house and saw this the other day (I stalk Ed Murchison's MCM listings). I would be all over it but for the location. Don't get me wrong, I was born and raised in "the OC" just a few minutes north of where this house is and my parents still live there but this is not the best area.CBRE Management Teamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07843112602674862505noreply@blogger.com
